Age restrictions vary per event day. Please check the age restrictions below and prior to purchasing your tickets. No refunds will be given for incorrectly purchased tickets.

Entry gates will operate a challenge 25 policy. Ticket Holders will be asked to show ID by security and if you cannot produce ID, you will be refused entry to the festival. Acceptable forms of ID are as follows:

- Valid Driver’s licence
- Valid PASS Card
Bars will operate a challenge 25 policy and reserve the right to refuse sale of alcohol to anyone unable to show valid Photo ID.
Additional age restrictions may be put in place inside the event for specific entertainment and activities.

All tickets will have the name of the purchaser on them, but you may gift your ticket to a friend or family member.
All tickets have a unique barcode that is scanned upon entry to the event. Once it has been scanned that barcode number will become void meaning the ticket cannot be re-used.
Resale tickets
If an event is Sold Out, you can sign up to the waiting list on Skiddle and be alerted if more tickets become available.
Please be aware of touts and always purchase tickets from trusted sources. For official On The Beach tickets please use our website.
Please do not buy tickets from a reseller or secondary marketplaces. This includes the major sites such as Viagogo, & Stubhub. You will often pay over the price and can be left out of pocket. Tickets may not be as described, fraudulent, not be delivered or already have been used meaning you get turned away at the gate.

Ticket tiers
We have a set allocation of tickets at each price tier – once they sell out, we move to the next one. There is no difference apart from the price you pay – as tiers sell out the price goes up. So, buy early and you will pay less!
Ticket delivery
Please refer to the outlet you purchased your tickets from and contact them for further enquiries. You must contact them if your ticket has not arrived.
Tickets will be sent as E-Tickets, and you can print them out or show on your phone at the gate. We recommend you download your ticket to your phone due to signal levels at the event site.
Box office
We recommend you buy in advance to secure the best price and availability. If any tickets remain when the gates open, they will only be available online through our ticket outlets and be subject to a higher price tier. No on-site box office operates for this event.
Sold out events
If an event is Sold Out, you can sign up to the waiting list on Skiddle and be alerted if more tickets become available. No tickets will be available on the day or on the gate for Sold Out events. Please do not attend unless you have purchased a ticket.

By purchasing tickets for On The Beach 2024 and entering the event site you agree to events Terms & Conditions of Entry.
Directons
The event site is located on the world-famous Brighton Beach, off Madeira Drive, between the Pier and the Marina. Use postcode BN2 1EN and follow the Festival Signage.
We are within easy walking distance of Brighton city centre, public transport connections and hotels.
By train
Brighton railway station operates services to various London main line stations, East Coast towards Lewes & Hastings, and West Coast towards Worthing & Southampton. Trains run regularly to this station and then it’s just a short walk or taxi ride to the event site.

By bus
Brighton has a large public bus network, with connections along the south coast. Nearest bus stops to the festival site are located on Marine Parade.

On foot
The festival site is within easy walking distance of Brighton city centre, public transport connections and hotels. Head to Brighton Pier then follow the festival signage along Madeira Drive.
Cycling
Public bike storage facilities are located along Madeira Drive. As with all other personal property, bikes are parked at the owner’s risk.
There are no bike storage facilities available within the event site.
Taxi
Brighton’s taxis are distinctive with their White & Aqua colour scheme. There is also several private hire and app-based operators working in the city. Please note that No Pick Up Drop Off is permitted on the Aquarium Roundabout or Madeira Drive and you should use the taxi ranks located in the city centre – For further information visit https://www.brighton-hove.gov.uk
Parking / pick up drop off
There is no parking available at the event.

Please note that No Pick Up Drop Off is permitted on the Aquarium Roundabout or Madeira Drive. You should plan your journey ahead and only park, stop or wait in suitable locations in the city.
Coaches
No official coach or shuttle bus services operate for this event. Please see travel options above.
There is no dedicated event coach parking available. Nearest public coach parking facilities are available on Madeira Drive towards the Marina.

Performance times won’t be confirmed until much closer to the event & further info will be updated on the website when available. Full set times will be available on the day.
Please note that all artists / performers and performance times are subject to change at any time.
VIP
Our exclusive VIP area is being upgraded for 2024 and provides a chill-out lounge, exclusive bar, enhanced viewing platform with sea views and posh loos.
To access VIP, you will need to purchase a VIP entry ticket and on approach to the event follow the signs for the dedicated VIP entrance.
Afterparties
If you want to continue the party until the early hours, then the official afterparties held at Concorde2 are for you! Further information and tickets will be available soon.
Re-entry
There is no re-entry into the arena – once you are in you are in!
Food and drink
We have lots of delicious food and drink stands at On The Beach to choose from. A world of choice is available including vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options, alongside the British seaside classic – Ice Creams!
A selection of alcohol, including beer, cider, wine & spirits alongside soft drinks will be available across the bars onsite.
Empty non-glass water bottles can be brought into the event to fill up at the water refill points.
Payments
On The Beach is cashless, with only card payments accepted onsite. We accept physical cards and mobile payments for food, drink, and merchandise. No cash machines will be available onsite.
Strobe lighting, lasers and smoke machines
Please note some artists may use strobe lighting, lasers, and smoke machines as part of their performance.
Prohibited items
For the safety & security of everyone at the festival there are specific items which you can’t bring to site. Everyone will be subject to search on entry to the festival.
You should only bring what you can afford to lose as any items confiscated at the gate will be disposed of accordingly

Bag restrictions
Bags larger than a piece of A4 paper are not permitted within the event site. No storage facilities are available at the event. Brighton has luggage storage facilities available across the city centre, operated by various platforms.
Water points
Drinking water points are located throughout the event site. Please bring a reusable non-glass water bottle with you to refill & stay hydrated.
The sea
Brighton is world famous for its iconic beach and sea views, it gave us our name after all. However, you should never enter the water or get close to the sea if you have been consuming alcohol or substances – Alcohol can seriously impair your judgement, reactions, and ability to swim. Always follow the advice from the RNLI Lifeguards and Brighton Beach Patrol.
Drug policy
On The Beach has a strict policy that does not tolerate drug use. You will be searched on entry to the festival, and anyone found with illegal substances will be handed to the police. Please note that all New Psychoactive Substances including nitrous oxide are also prohibited.
Safety , medical & welfare
The safety and welfare of our customers & staff is the top priority of On The Beach. We have a professional security team located across the event site, in addition to a medical & welfare centre.
If you, or anyone, feels unwell or uncomfortable at any point please approach a member of security, staff or visit the medical & welfare centre. All the festival teams will offer immediate assistance without judgement.

On The Beach does not accept any form of harassment or violence towards customers or staff.
If you, or anyone, is feeling unsafe please approach a member of security, staff or bar staff and Ask for Angela. Our staff will know that you are in need of immediate help and will be able to get you away from the situation safely and discreetly.
Security
We take the security of attendees seriously. Working with our security partner we aim to provide a safe and welcoming environment.
To facilitate this please always comply with the security team and follow the guidance below;
• Bring as few valuables onto site as possible and bring a suitable small bag (No larger than a piece of A4 paper) to always keep them on you.
• Download the Find My iPhone (or Android equivalent) app.
• If you see or hear of any crime, unreasonable or suspicious behaviour please report it one of our stewarding or security staff who will be always clearly identifiable.
To facilitate the safety & security of the event, the event organisers reserve the right to refuse admission and evict attendees at any time as per the ticket terms and conditions.
Lost property
Lost & found property is collected and logged onsite at the Info Point. After the festival, please email lostproperty@onthebeachbrighton.com who will have the log of all property collected and aim to reunite you.
Please reduce the number of valuables you bring to the festival and keep any you do bring with you secure. There are no locker facilities available onsite and bags larger than a piece of A4 paper are prohibited.
The land
The event is held on the pebbles of Brighton Beach. Although some temporary walkways will be in place, much of the event site is exposed to the pebbles.
Entry
Accessible customers may enter the site via the VIP entrance if discussed in advance with info@louderuk.com as capacity in this area is limited and will sell out in advance. The VIP gate is located on Madeira Drive and has ramped access into the event alongside temporary flooring.
Accessible customers who do not require the viewing platform should enter via the Main Entrance and speak with security on approach to the gate as fast track entry may be available.
Accessibility services
On The Beach aim to cater for all access needs to ensure everyone has an enjoyable time at the festival. We will offer several facilities and services onsite including:

We offer Free Carer / Personal Assistance tickets with the purchase of an entry ticket. These tickets can be obtained directly through the Skiddle & See Tickets, free of charge, who you will need to submit supporting documentation to. Travel & parking
We don’t operate any customer parking facilities for this event. Nearest public Blue Badge parking is located on Madeira Drive. Please visit https://www.brighton-hove.gov.uk for information on city centre car parks & blue badge parking.

Environment
On The Beach appoints and works with professional waste management contractors to clean the event site and dispose of all waste correctly. Additional bins are located along Madeira Drive & on the beach leading up to the entry gates, and we pay for all the waste management and disposal.
To reduce our impact on the environment we reduce single use plastics, separate our waste into recycling streams and litter pick a wide area outside the event including the beach & Madeira Drive.
Traffic management
We work with a professional Traffic Management company and for safety reasons temporary parking suspensions, traffic controls and speed limits may be in place along Madeira Drive during the event.
A temporary Road Closure will be implemented on Madeira Drive on event days to allow for the dispersal of ticket holders during egress. This is estimated to be in place 22:00-23:30 daily but is subject to the events requirements and may be implemented earlier or lifted later.
The closure will be implemented at the Aquarium roundabout junction and remain up to the junction with Dukes Mound.
The cycle lane will remain open throughout.
Beach closure
Brighton Beach will remain open throughout our time on-site apart from the area within the events fence-line. We are located between the Zipwire Landing Stage and the SeaLanes complex.
On event dates a sterile zone down to the shoreline from the south of the event site will be installed using Heras fencing. Members of the public will not be able to access this area, and instead will need to divert onto Madeira Drive.
